- Thamara Labrousse has extensive experience, a proven track record and hands-on expertise in managing complex organizational issues, developed over 30 years of working in public sector organizations including human services, social justice, health and local government. Much of her career and volunteer work have focused on advocating and ensuring access to services for underserved and marginalized communities across Miami-Dade County. Experience Highlights :
- 33 years of experience working in public sector organizations including human services, social justice, health and local government.
- 20 years of executive level management experience with increasing responsibility.
- 16 years of experience in providing consulting services and technical assistance and support to senior management, staff and Board of Directors to improve effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Over 20 years of Board experience and providing organizational oversight with various organizations as well as Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) including strategic planning, financial oversight, policy direction, performance evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
- Areas of expertise includes: program development and implementation; board development and corporate governance; coalition building and management; strategic planning; grant writing; grant management; staff and volunteer development; leadership and coaching; and fiscal management.
